▼Thermocouple K type Vacuum side cable
Thermocouple for use in ultra-high vacuum environment
Length: 1000, 2500, 5000
Connects to thermocouple feedthrough.
Temperature can be measured at the welding point of the tip.

▼Coating material
Bare wire only: No coating.
Polyimide (Kapton): Coated cable with low outgassing
Ceramic beads: Protected by insulating beads for high temperatures.

▼How to distinguish
Alumel: Magnetic, with red coloring at the cable end
Chromel: No magnetism

▼About Ceramic bead cables
The end of the cable has a Y-terminal to prevent beads from falling off and for identification purposes. When using the cable, please cut off the Y-terminal and crimp a socket contact or the like.
For positive (Chromel) cables, one side of the Y-terminal is cut off.
The Y-terminal is not cut off for the minus (Alumel).
